Knot A Dream/Knot Yet

We truly enjoyed Knot A Dream , she was a great boat and we have many fond memories of friends and travels we had with her.. With each Birthday, there comes physical challenges, and making life easier was/is our goal. So when we knew we wanted to continue with being live-aboards
,

We both knew,we needed a bit more room. Knot Yet has 10 more feet and tons more room, a floor plan much easier for company to travel with us. We have had a few visitors already..  Still struggling.. This is where I wanted to add a couple more pictures and I'm unable.. Trying another angle. yeah!!  I did it... My cousin Kathy and her husband Don, from California, were our first visitors. It was short and sweet.. It was great seeing them as they passed through ,on their way to Pennsylvania for a wedding.

Then to our surprise , my sister from AZ and my Mom came for an evening. It was awesome to see them both!! It was a bit chilly when they were here . So we all remained inside and chatted . Unfortunately, no photos were taken. These are from the month before down in Panama City.

Today... Our story begins again.

We have been living aboard " Knot Yet" since the first of May 2015. She's an Ocean Alexander 456. We are very excited to have her. There is much to learn about her, this area, and our skills on her. Here in Scottsboro Alabama  along the Tennessee River is a great place to do just that.
Our Marina is nicely protected from winds and river traffic. It offers many amenities.. laundry, bath house, fuel, bait shop, restaurants , pool, marine repair, golf and campground. Town is close by and one of its claimed to fame is they have " Unclaimed Luggage" store. It's like a huge thrift store on steroids.

Day three. Still learning. It's the cha-cha.. One step forward, two steps back.

My frustration continues as I'm learning. Yesterday , I wrote a lengthy piece of our new beginning. Thought I had saved it to add a few picture to it. However, today it's nowhere to be found. So I will try my luck again and again until I get the swing of this.. Then I'll share this blog. I'm keeping my fingers crossed every time I try to post something. Here goes..
