The migratining black bird pass through the Marina at sun up.. They invade by the thousands for about 15-20 minutes then they're gone.. The dock master says they do this every year for about 6-weeks.. They are a nuisance and really make a mess with their "droppings". Buster hept them off our boat.. Good boy Buster!
It's time to keep heading south. Goodbye to Clearwater.. We certainly had fun here.
In no time at all we had Dolphins playing in our wake..
It was a nice ride to Sarasota .
Not so nice for this boat.. Sunk and looking like it's been there for sometime.
Tampa Bay is a very large body of water but a lot of it is quite shallow.. Always best to stay in the channels.. The most direct route to that bridge would have you in trouble.
Marina Jacks in Sarasota is quite nice.. Even kind of swankie... Valet parking.. A little too formal for my taste ..
But they had a cute gift shop, nice shower/bath area and laundry machines for us boaters.
The restaurant seemed quite nice,,, but chose to eat on board... Left overs .
The sunset was glowing!
I enjoyed play photographer as the sun was setting.
