It start out with blue skies, but as we got closer to our destination, the clouds rolled in. I was intrigued by the clouds today! The water was calm and the reflexions were amazing.
Here's just a hint of fall colors.
Buster had his nose in the air as we approached Decater.
There was an unusual smell.. I just couldn't place it..
Then we saw the sign..
We went under several tall bridges .
And we were at the railroad bridge at the right time!! A train had just passed and they lifted the bridge for boat traffic. Two south/down bound and one north/up bound.
This is one massive tower next to a nuclear power plant.
The sky is changing but still no wind or rain..
The light would pop through the clouds.
Not sure why, but I was truly mesmerized by the clouds today.
One more before we pull into port.
What a great slip.. Right in front of the lodge and pool.
We got all checked in. Then it began to rain... But only for about an hour .. Safe and dry inside.
We went to the lodge for dinner .. What a nice treat. Peach cobbler for dessert. Life is good !
